Stuffed Paratha

Updated: Sep 26, 2021

I constantly try to get inspired by other cultures' food, flavors, and colors; however, I like to do it my way. Let's discover the world through food and make every day a new opportunity to eat differently.

Today, I'm bringing Paratha to my table.

20 Minutes

2 portions

Have you ever tried Paratha?

"A paratha is a native Indian flatbread, prevalent throughout the modern-day nations of India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Maldives and Myanmar, where wheat is the traditional staple. Paratha is an amalgamation of the words parat and atta, which literally means layers of cooked dough."

INGREDIENTS

✅ 2 Frozen Parathas

✅ 1/4 Cucumber

✅ 3 small mushrooms

✅ 2 green onions' leaves

✅ Tofu

✅ Cilantro

✅ Mozzarella cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1

Chop the veggies and the tofu, place them in a pan with oil, garlic, soy sauce, and pepper. Let them cook for around 5 to 10 min on low-med

Step 2

3. In a different pan (add oil optionally). Once the pan gets hot, place the Paratha in low-med for a minute, and turn it.

Step 3

When the Paratha gets golden, add the fried veggies, the mozzarella cheese, and fold the Paratha in half. Let it brown for 30 seconds on each side and remove it from the pan.

Step 4

It's time to serve. Place it on a flat plate and add a salad.

Note:

In my case, I added cucumber, avocado, and tomato salad.

To make it more appealing, add some cilantro leaves and sprinkle Parmesan cheese all over.

Bon Appétit!

Enjoy it :)
